Ceramicoat is a protective coating designed to keep your headers and exhaust systems looking & performing like new for years. Under normal conditions exhaust systems oxidize and rot. Ceramicoat prevents oxidation and thermal fatique, greatly extending the life of your parts. By coating the inside of the headers, Ceramicoat gives a smoother bore and more flow and does not corrode from exhaust hydrocarbons. Ceramicoat acts as a thermal barrier, containing heat and exhaust gases in the headers causing a refuction in under hood temperatures. Ceramicoat withstands temperatures up to 1000+ degrees constant and won't turn blue or peel like chrome and high heat paint. Ceramicoat is ideally suited for exhaust systems on race cars, show cars, motorcycles, marine vehicles and RV's. Ceramicoat can also be applied to heads, intake manifolds and exhaust manifolds.
